تحليل الهيموجلوبينHaemoglobin analysis

Haemoglobin analysis:

This test detects the anemia disease which have symptoms as dizziness , headache , hypotension and hair falling .

This disease followed by nutrition instructions as:
-Eating meats without fats , vegetables , apple …etc .
-Partaking of vitamin c sources (natural preferred) after meal directly which helps in more absorption of iron in food that taken .
-Can partaking of coffee & tea but after meal by 2 hrs.

Procedure :

>Blood sample : fresh blood , EDTA blood or heparinized blood .
>Reagent : must be prepared according to kits of the chemicals used , and must stored in dark containers (this reagents breaks down by light) .

1. Put 2.5 ml of pre prepared working reagent in a test tube then put 10 µ blood .
2. Leave it for 5 minutes the read at wave length 546.

Calculation :

Reading x 36.77 = ……gm. X 6.9 = ……% .

Normal :

Adult male 14 – 16 gm
Adult female 12 – 14 gm
New born 18 – 21.5 gm
6 months 12.8 – 16 gm
1 year 10 – 14 gm
8 year 11.5 – 14.8 gm
14 year 11.6 – 15 gm

Abnormal :

-Less than normal values indicates the presence of anemia disease.
-The blood mesentration in females may cause decrease in hemoglobin levels.
-More than normal levels occurs in smoker men or in case of cancer in spleen (in this case must withdraw blood to decrease hemoglobin to normal levels).

Note:
in case of very low level of hemoglobin ( < 45%) indicates the bean anemia (breaking down of RBC’s usually by genetic cause) which affected by eating bean or any grains have the same species .
